2" Shangri-La Paradise Collection Light Filtering Window Shadings are perfect if you like the look of 2" blinds but would like a little more privacy than the wood blinds or fauxwoods give when rotated open. The 2" louver is in the center with a sheer fabric on the front and back of the louver so when rotated open you look through the sheer fabric. The sheer material adds some privacy while still enabling you to see your view outside. The 2 inch light filtering window shades have a beautiful, soft look to them which are suitable in formal settings while also looking great as a casual window treatment too and are great for bedrooms or anywhere that a little more privacy is needed. * Please note this product uses a clutch roller system that does not come with a valance covering. If you need a valance, this product is also available with a valance covering on a different product page.

The 2" Shangri-La Paradise Collection light filtering Window Shadings will cut out the direct sunlight while still filling the room with a glowing subtle light when the louvers are open. They have the functionality of a blind with the soft look of draperies. The louvers can be rotated to different angles to adjust the light and the view or you can lift them all the way up to the top of the window and they will roll up on a custom roller. The control is a continuous loop cord which lifts and lowers the shade. The cord always remains the same length unlike other types of window blinds that have a lift cord that gets longer hanging on the floor when the blind is lifted. With the continuous loop control the shade can be stopped in any height position that you want it at. For a bolder look choose the 3" vane option for a 10% surcharge.

Color Accuracy Policy:

Although we do our best to make sure that the colors on our web site are accurate, actual colors will vary. Due to the fact that our products are all custom made, and can't be returned, you need to be sure that you can live with any color variations that are possible from our scanning of the actual samples. Also, most of our products use Color Coordinated Components. Color Coordinated means similar colors but not necessarily the same exact color. An exact match in color is not always possible for the components of the blind/shade. The color that best coordinates with the product's slat/fabric color will be chosen for use on the components. All components will not necessarily be of the same exact coordinated color. Some examples of color-coordinated component would be ladder strings, lift cords, tilter mechanisms, bottom rails, tassels, etc. If an exact color match is needed, please call and make an appointment for an in-home estimate and a friendly sales representative will bring the actual samples to your home for examination.

Warranty Information

Cleaning and Care:
The soft and delicate feel of Sheer Horizontal Window Shadings belies the durability of the material. Sheer Horizontal is created from strudy, knitted polyester fabric and may be feather dusted or vacuumed at low suction setting. Spots or stains can be rubbed clean with a damp sponge and mild soap. To avoid discoloration of the material, we recommend against the use of chemical cleaners. If necessary the shading can be professionally ultrasonically cleaned.

All knitted fabrics experience weave variations due to heat, humidity and other room conditions. These variations can result in slight bowing, puckering and dimpling of the Sheer Horizontal material. The possible variations are minor and have been shown through case study not to detract from the beauty of this product.

Window Shadings Lifetime Limited Warranty

Comfortex warrants that its window treatments will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original residential purchaser owns the product, provided that the product was installed properly and in accordance with the installation instructions. The limited lifetime warranty is extended to the original residential purchaser only, in the original window for which it was installed.

The warranty does not include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, extraordinary use, misapplication, improper handling, improper installation, improper repairs, operation or cleaning, loss of color intensity, exposure to salt air, damage from insects, or the yellowing and cracking of plastic parts with the passing of time. This warranty does not cover variation in color, grain, or texture in natural wood products nor excessive warping of wood slats in high humidity areas. Loss of pleating is not covered if the product is not being cycled (held in the raised position a portion of the time). Normal wear and tear is not covered.

All moving parts, such as cords, will eventually wear out and fabric may fray. Comfortex considers these things as normal wear and tear and will carry a three year limited warranty.

This limited warranty does not cover transportation costs to and from the retailer, costs of removal, re-measure, or reinstallation of product, or any incidental or consequential damages.

If a Comfortex product is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace or refund the cost of a product which fails to conform to this limited warranty. Colors vary from lot to lot and may not exactly match sample swatch, sample book, or previous purchases. Discontinued components or color selections will be replaced with the closest equivalent current product. This shall be your sole remedy under this limited warranty.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES OR WARRANTIES. In no event shall Comfortex or its licensed fabricators or distributors be liable for INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, or for any other damage, loss or expense, cost or fee associated with such damage. In some states, exclusions for incidental or consequential damages are not allowable.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Policy is subject to change without notice.

This limited warranty is exclusive of commercial use. Contact Comfortex Technical Service for more information. No agent, representative, dealer or unauthorized employee has the authority to increase or alter the obligation of this warranty.

This limited warranty supersedes any previous versions.

Shipping Fees

UPS or FedEx Ground Shipping:
Free shipping applies to all orders over 0 and under 60 inches in width and shipping to an address in the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. Please call us for shipping quotes outside the covered area. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, Vertical Blinds, and Track Shades which may incurr a flat shipping fee per manufacturer.

Oversize Products Shipping Fee:
If your package is 96 inches or over in width or length it will be shipped by common carrier (semi truck) from the nearest manufacturing facility to you. There will be a 65.00 USD oversize shipping charge for any order with products that are 96 inches or more in width or length. This charge is per manufacturer. Meaning if you order two oversized products and they are from two different manufacturers (two different brands) then there will be TWO charges for a total of 0.00 USD shipping. But, if you have more than one product over 96 inches at it is from same manufacturer you will only pay one oversize fee. The fee is per order, not per blind. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurs a flat shipping fee per manufacturer.
